With: Shannon Robinson, Program Director, Western Colorado AIDS Project

When: Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
The prescription opioid epidemic has led to a significant increase in injection drug use across the United States. Often hounded by misconceptions, syringe access programs (SAP) have been proven effective at reducing Hepatitis C and HIV infections related to this public health crisis.
Get the point! Colorado has multiple syringe access programs in operation along the Front Range and on the Western Slope. Western Colorado AIDS Project’s Shannon Robinson, Director of the Mesa County SAP in Grand Junction, will help us understand the science, operations, and benefits of these controversial programs.
Join us for this frank, informative, and lively discussion! You can attend a Men’s Forum from a PC, Mac, or Linux computer, an iOS/iPhone, or Android phone. You also can join audio only from a regular phone.
